A video of Wizkid and an unidentified man at his mother’s burial ceremony has surfaced online, sparking widespread reactions among social media users.

Recall that singer Wizkid’s mother’s burial, held in 2023 after her passing, was a somber yet star-studded event that became the talk of the country.

However, in a clip making the rounds online, Wizkid was seen greeting some set of people who came for his mother’s burial and however the singer’s attitude towards a guy who tried to greet him has raised several eyebrows.

In the video, the man attempts to hug Wizkid, but the singer initially resists. Eventually, Wizkid shows some affection by placing his hand around the man’s shoulder briefly before quickly disengaging.

Meanwhile, Wizkid immediately shows some love to the other guy who came to greet him and the singer’s reactions in the clip sparked mixed reactions.

Sharing the video, an X user identified as @dayoreigns wrote; “Na only God know wetin this guy do Wizkid. Machala no dey forget.”

Responding, someone on X identified as Chrisben Isichei wrote; “That’s solo, he deserves it.”
