Olamide permits Asake to end his contract and split from YBNL amicably.
Olamide, a Nigerian singer, has reportedly permitted Asake to end his contract and split from his record label, YBNL Music.
The masters to all of Asake’s songs recorded under the label have been given to him; however, they will continue to split the songs’ royalties for the duration of the contract, which is at least ten years.
“I did not create YBNL because I wanted to make money,” according to reports, Olamide stated. Any artist under me is free to leave; I made it because I wanted to see other young people develop. Asake has fulfilled his role, and I am pleased with him.
